Why Have We Become Mere Pawns?
We often observe a tendency in modern individuals to complicate what should be simple. We lose ourselves in irrelevant details, concern ourselves more with others than with ourselves, and in many cases, let control over our own lives slip away. How did we reach this point? The phenomenon of individual triviality has spread like a weed. Today, we are confronted with a society full of " NPCs " (Non-Playable Characters) – people who get lost in unproductive activities, merely following society’s and the elite's instructions, neglecting their own development. Instead of reading, studying—always with a critical and conscious mindset — or dedicating themselves to physical and intellectual activities, they give in to procrastination, promiscuity, and the shallow " YOLO " (You Only Live Once) philosophy.
